Keralan Lemon Pickle – South Indian Pickle

Lemon Pickle is a great alternative to the better known lime pickle. The taste and texture is similar as you’d expect. As it’s naturally quite acidic it makes for a great pickle without having to add too much to it. There’s 100% Natural ingredients so there’s no surprises and no nasties. You may find more uses for this but right now all we love it for is putting on poppadum or a sandwich. Enjoying all those flavours that shout out indian food at its finest. The flavours this pickle really exudes are the fresh curry leaves, toasted spices and chunks of garlic.

The reason this pickle is so much better than others, is simply the texture… If there’s one thing we dislike with budget versions is the chewy rind!
