The Jinta chilli comes from China and is one of the most common varieties there.
The approx. 10-14 cm long chillies are so colour-intensive that a deep red chilli oil can be produced from them, which is very popular in Chinese cuisine as a table spice.
The Jinta chilli has an intense chilli pepper flavour and a medium heat of 8,000 - 12,000 SHU.
